About Keji
I work where strategy meets execution.
I'm Keji Pius, an independent strategy and operations consultant. I help fintech and technology startups solve payments, growth and operational problems — and stay involved until the solution works.

How I work
Most of the problems I'm asked to help with don't fit neatly into one department. A payments decision affects finance, product and customer operations. A partnership touches legal, commercial and engineering. A market launch touches everyone. My work is to see the whole problem, make the important decisions clear and help the team deliver.
I work directly with founders and leadership teams — as an adviser on a focused question, as a hands-on lead on a defined project, or as a fractional partner over a longer period.
Background
My experience spans banking technology, cross-border payments, foreign exchange and business finance platforms. I work on the connections between the product, the partners it needs and the team delivering it.
For a banking technology provider, I opened and closed partnerships with an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) and a Bureau de Change (BDC) to help create licence coverage for cross-border payments.
For an OTC and cross-border FX platform, I supported compliance and regulatory licensing, helped with banking partnerships and onboarding, and oversaw the platform build and project plan.
I have also helped a business finance platform with banking partnerships and cross-functional workflows, fostering collaboration, team building and direction.

Where I focus
- Payments & fintech. Provider decisions, payment flows and the operations behind them.
- Partnerships. Banking, distribution and strategic partners — from first conversation to launch.
- International expansion. Preparing for new markets with realistic assumptions.
- Enterprise sales. Commercial strategy and sales processes for complex B2B buyers.
- Operations. Cross-functional execution, process design and operating rhythm.
